From geologic profile and geographic location through to infrastructure and workforce, Selten’s THOR Project represents a rare and unique opportunity for investment, growth, and the potential for global leadership in the rare earth sector.
THOR and the Critical Four
The Critical Four rare earth elements considered most valuable to a sustainable future
are not often found on the same project: Selten’s THOR is a remarkable exception.
The Critical Four consist of: neodymium (light), praseodymium (light), dysprosium
(heavy), and terbium (heavy). These four elements were responsible for over 90% of
total value of the global total rare earth oxide (TREO) consumption last year. Why? In a
word, “magnets.” Permanent Magnets being essential to clean energy. These four, plus
ten others, makes 14 of the 17 rare earth elements discovered on THOR.
Serving geopolitical stability and the new climate economy through leadership in the discovery of rare earth elements.
